Making Custom Wall Tool Holders
This Video going to show you the wall tool holders creating over a workbench on a big piece of melamine some of my hand tools I made these two sim holders for my tea hunt Torx hex keys nut drivers roughs and screwdrivers I place them down .
To calculate the space I need to let between every tool in order to find the right length of the wood I mark the distances and extend them with a tri square I did the same process for the other piece then I started measuring the exterior diameter of every tool and at the total result I added 1 millimeter 1/2 millimeter parametrically in order for them to get in and out more easily I did the same process for the other piece .
I opened all the holes needed to both pitched very carefully for the depth of every hole to be up to the middle of the thickness of the wood in this case the thickness of the wood is 2 centimeters so wide open holes 1 centimeter deep now I measured the entire diameter of every tool adding again 1/2 millimeter parametrically for the same reason I opened again all the holes needed for every tool but, this time each hole went from one side to the other I've lived it over and Mark the two abutting external lines for every cycle.
Adjust the blade to the right height and they started cutting with precision until the blade that's the two lines I drew before and the holder it's ready then I sanded all the sides of both pieces very well because this is softwood and it leaves splinters on the edges I needed to send all the points with soft sand paper by hand in order the tools to come in and out more easily.
I did a little rasping between the gaps after all these sounding which time for painting I let them dry for one day and then stall them on the big piece of melamine on their wall let's organize this mess put the Tri squares I measure the thickness of every piece and made these holders for the drill bits I measure the length of the base of every set.
Makeing this holder I put the basis of the drill bits into the holder and place it on the wall for the whole soles I took a piece of wood some dowels and I open the 45-degree holes in order to keep the holes holes in place....
