How to make 3V solinoid engine using syringes , cool video

A solenoid is a coil wound into a tightly packed helix. the term solenoid refers to a long, thin loop of wire, often wrapped around a metallic core, which produces a manetic field when an electric current is passed through it. Solenoids are important because they can create controlled magnetic fields and can be used as electromagnets

Working of Solenoid Engine The engine runs using a simple 9V (PP3) battery and just a simple flick of the flywheel. I do like the ease with which you can construct a base using wood (as you may have noticed lots of my engines have been like this. The brass mushrooms along the top of the frame are there purely to wrap the connecting wires around to keep them tidy. The copper wire is laquered and so no worries about shorting.
